STUDY PROGRAMS OF HIGHER PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION OF THE FIRST DEGREE:
Specialty Accountant – one of the most challenging and popular programs. In the course of studies we cover: Accounting, Imposts and Taxes, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Foreign languages, Information Technology and other subjects. Duration of Studies – 2 years in the Day Department. 2.5 years in the Correspondence Department. Law

Aim of the specialty is to produce lawyers who can hold posts in the business structures. Within the framework of the specialty “Law” students study: Roman Civil Law, the EU Law, Political Science, Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Administrative Law, Adjudicatory Process, Criminal Law and other subjects. They acquire knowledge in legal transaction processing, conducting of business talks, criminal and civil procedure and many other important skills. Duration of Studies – 2 years in the Day Department. 2.5 years in the Correspondence
There is a rapidly growing interest in business education and the specialty of Business Administration is one of the most popular branches of studies. Aim of this program is to teach students to manage enterprises, capability to review serious assignments and make strategically right decisions. There are dozen of different programs in Business Administration, ranging from studies on basic principles of general management up to some narrowly – specialized fields such as Agribusiness, Banking and Financial Management, Construction Operations, Transportation and Technologies. Latvia Business College offers studies according to the program “Entrepreneurship” granting a qualification of “Specialist in Entrepreneurship”.
Subjects of program are divided in blocks: a block of compulsory choice, a block of subjects of choice and a block of optional subjects. The block of compulsory choice consists of the following subjects: Entrepreneurship, Banking Management, Economics of Entrepreneurship, Imposts and Taxes, Strategy and Business Analysis, the Basics of Law, Foreign languages and other subjects. Duration of Studies – 2 years in the Day Department. 2.5 years in the Correspondence Department.
Field of Specialization: - Programmer - System Administrator Volume of Program – 80 credits.
Available forms of studies in the program: Day, Evening, Correspondence Departments, and Distance Studies.
Duration of Studies: 2 or 2.5 years.
