Besides your studies at the program „Entrepreneurship” will raise two important issues related with your chosen speciality, you will be able to answer only performing a detailed analysis of your personal psychological focus – the issues of assuming responsibility and willingness to take a risk. These aspects are the determinant, key factors of entrepreneurship – imminence of risk in certain situations and assuming responsibility for your entrepreneurial activities. The risk is very certain: because you risk with your financial assets, you need to invest in the set up business but certainly return, preferably at a profit. If you don’t mind to take a risk and you are ready to assume responsibility, it will be one more important step in the direction of entrepreneurship; otherwise your entrepreneurial activities will fail in this stage.
You have to make up your mind on your own and ideally before enrolment in college at the study program “Entrepreneurship”.
If you are not sure if you want to earn your higher education at the study program “Entrepreneurship”, you can get your higher education according to other study programs: Accounting, Law and Information Technologies.
If you are sure that you want to run business despite all possible risks and difficulties, you will soon make sure that success can add wings – following each new successfully implemented project you will take the second, third, tenth and thousandth project. Step by step you will clearly develop work technique, discover the real reasons of inevitable initial failures and you will learn methods how to eliminate them, you will be introduced to new people, original functions in business organization. Study Program “Entrepreneurship” at the LBC – Higher Education, Diploma of International Specimen
Latvia Business College offers you to get education according to the internationally accredited study program “Entrepreneurship” – it is well-thought-out, wisely drawn up and implemented to an accomplished standard. Latvia Business College offers higher education with specifically developed courses of lectures prepared to provide you with the necessary initial knowledge to run business. Everybody knows that the theoretical knowledge should be supported by practical activities. Therefore there is a practical training during the last academic semester at the LBC in companies co-operating with our college. When the tests and exams, required according to the study program, are passed, you will receive a diploma of higher vocational education of the first degree acknowledged throughout the world. After grauduation from college you will earn a qualification of “Specialist of Entrepreneurship”.
There are no entrance examinations at the LBC.
Duration of Studies: 2 – 2.5 years
We offer 4 forms of studies:
- Full Time Department
- Evening Department
- Correspondence Department
- Distance Department
Students have lectures 4 times a week from 9:00am to 2:30pm in the Full Time Department or from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the Evening Department. Correspondence Department studies according to the following schedule: every second Saturday and Sunday – 4 times a month.
